(Shaw) produced by Geoff Dixon in
1950. It was the next play after
Macbeth. Three scenes are
posed after the dress rehearsal
and the other is of cast members
waiting to be called. I am
wearing the mitre (Bishop of
Beauvais). |

been thinking about St Joan. It
must have been December,1950. As
you can see, no effort was spared
in striving for excellence. At
that time, wartime privations
were still much in evidence and
staffing was tight. |
