The 2002 Reunion Dinner

The
Annual Reunion Dinner was held once again
at the Statham Lodge Hotel in Lymm on
Friday, 18th October. Sadly, the
attendance of just 45 former Prescotians
was modest in comparison with recent
years and this will be a cause of concern
for future organisers as to the nature of
this event. Mike Winn, Chris Clee and
Peter and Sarah Chadwick were unable to
attend at the last minute. |

Mr.
Des Roberts welcomed the guests to the
Dinner and a silence of one minute was
observed for the late Professor
Jim Taylor. He later
introduced Mr. Ken Holt to speak to the
Reunion. Ken's theme was the 'Sense of
Humour generated at Prescot' and
proceeded to give a well received
light-hearted and affectionate look at
the humorous moments of his school
career. The evening was rounded off
with a group photo
of all the guests, taken by
the Duty Manager of the Statham Lodge.
