reference to the poll for an honorary patron of
the Prescotian Webzine, I would like to offer
congratulations to Sue on achieving the above
accolade, with my old pal Alan A'court a worthy
runner-up. However, we will never know whether Keith Macklin's nomination would have achieved an enhanced percentage of the vote had the confirmation of his M.A. degree filtered through. (Wot, at his age? I hear you ask.) Still,
he has the consolation of being 'Leading
Sportsman'! The degree was for John Ruskin
