Cast of Gogol's
"Government Inspector" circa
1962;
Directors Des Roberts and Latin Master
Parry. Yours truly "The Judge"
is the smirking one with the wing collar
in the middle. Jeff Easthope is
also somewhere in the back row - I think
that's him with the big hat. |

| The Government
Inspector
(Phil
Coulson) proposes to the Mayor's
daughter (Douglas Davidson)
before the assembled notables of
the town. The Reporter
wrote: "Featuring the
largest ever cast in the school's
history of plays, the 27 actors
gave such polished performances
that it was hard to believe they
had been rehearsing for six
weeks. The producer of the
play, Mr. D. J. Roberts, an old
boy of the school, said:
'Co-operation and teamwork by
masters and boys is the essence
of the play's success' . |
