Ocean Transport, shipping company in
Liverpool, 5 years BICC in Prescot, moved
to NZ in 1979 - best thing I ever did!
Worked in transport industry for couple
of years before getting sales rep job in
the same business. Started selling
advertising for soccer magazine in 1984,
then bought the mag with a partner in
1986. Sold out in 1988, started my own
company, Pageworks, desktop
publishing/graphic design. Still doing
it, going very well!! |

through this website has uncovered a
great deal of remembrances of PGS, Beak,
Splinter Davies, Chaz, Bugsy, Billy Gray
(my form master) the Subbuteo Club! I'll
be posting my thoughts on the site soon.
Already spotted about 15 people mentioned
on the site that I went to school with -
Glyn Phillips, Geoff Sumner, Dougie
Johnson, Dave Janes. The nostalgia is
amazing… |

back to Prescot |
Been back
many times, couldn't believe the
deterioration of the old site over the
years, fire, housing etc. Nearly cried
when I say the houses on the old
playground. Barbarians. |

Happy living
in Godzone, NZ is great, superb climate,
not too hot or cold, still trying to keep
fit kicking the ball and swinging the
arms. My mum still lives in Prescot,
Carlton St, about 15 seconds from
Maisies, probably the only thing that
takes me back there nowadays. |
