point, probably during Spencer Briggs'
reign at PGS, the school badge mutated
from what was the basic crest of Prescot,
with its 'Floreat Prescotia' motto.
Suddenly, 'Futures Civitatem Inquirimus'
became the clarion call in latin lessons.
Now in the 21st Century and its dumbing
down, a badge [minus motto] looking as
undistinctive as it could possibly be
with its very basic iconography and
symbolism. |
