Charles
McHugh is renowned
in the field of Aviation Art. He
joined the Royal Air Force,
eventually qualifying as
Helicopter Crewman Instructor in
96. Initially self taught, Chas
received no formal art training,
but instead developed a natural
aptitude for painting over many
years. His love of painting and a
life long fascination for flying
led to a specialization in
aviation art. Many people have
encouraged him in his artistic
career and particular thanks are
due to Mr Dai Davies, Art teacher
at Prescot Grammar School who
nurtured his talent as a
teenager, and Mr Dan Dare, an
aviation artist himself, who
convinced Chas to make the
transition from pencils to oils.More>>> |

Shaun
Kearney was accepted on
Northumbria University's fashion
design course. It soon became
apparent that while the young
Merseysider might not have
harboured any fashion ambitions,
he was destined for bigger
things. During his time at the
university he scooped six major
awards,including beating 14,000
other young hopefuls to scoop the
prestigious Gifu World Student
Fashion Competition in Japan.
He has since established himself
as one of America's top fashion
designers. He designed the
ultra-feminine ball gown Hilary
Swank wore when she won the best
actress Oscar in 2001 for Boys
Don't Cry. He has dressed fellow
actresses Jennifer Aniston, Halle
Berry and Sharon Stone. Latin
songstress Jennifer Lopez has
also stepped out in Shaun Kearney
evening wear, as have Celine Dion
and Cher. More
