| I recently
unearthed photo featuring what I recall
was a lunchtime session during A-levels.
I think it took place on that pub
half-way down Prescot Hill, not the posh
one by the church which didn't have
bullfight posters! |

feature (from left) Pete Snowdon, Brian
Woolley, Robert Connell, Ray Graves,
Nigel Davies, Keith Miller and 'Ubi Sunt'
Hubbard. Alan Johnson is next to Connell
and those are my glasses above Connell's
head. Ian Cairns is on the right and
further back I can pick out Dave and Pete
Robinson, Stuart Evans and Colin Crabb
next to Rob Liddiard. You can probably
name a few others. I think the V-signs
were in the Churchillian rather than the
Huyton spirit. |
